This is one of those books where I would have benefited from creating a spreadsheet of characters names and who they are in relation to the hero. It was a good story but I couldn't quite get into the world Weeks built. The secondary characters didn't seem quite fleshed out and I wonder if some of their stories even needed to be told in this book. I'll continue on to the second in the series in hopes the story gets a bit more streamlined and some of the clunky sentences are edited.
